Andrea Eastman received a BFA from Alfred University, majoring in Photography and Printmaking. She captured memories for over 25 years as photographer/owner of Eastman Portrait Studio in
Binghamton NY.  Andrea specialized in children, pet, and family portraits on her signature white background with artistic posing and unique props.

A Sunday homily “Pray in all you do” led her to return to painting, this time praying for people while painting. It was a perfect fit, being a member of her church’s Healing Mass prayer team. She was surprised to find that when her prints were displayed at a local gallery, other artists commented on the angels in them. Andrea was not aware of the angels prior to this and did not intentionally paint them.

She launched her Inspirational Gift Line in April of 2014 with her hand painted silk scarves. Again, she was surprised when she showed them to one of the first people to see them, who exclaimed, “They are full of angels like your paintings!” To date, in addition to her other art Andrea has painted over 1000 scarves. Along with angels, people see religious images and images that relate specifically to their lives in her art.
