Divine Proportion

I received the word placed on my heart that the person who was coming by my Gallery would be interested in this article. I came across it while tidying up today. I set it aside several weeks ago thinking I could reference it for my art. The article talked about the “Golden Ratio” and for centuries called “Divine Proportion”. This ratio is present in the beauty of nature that God created. A few of the things this ratio can be found in are the proportions of our faces, the Galaxies, Spiraling seashells and the seed of the Sunflower to name a few. This ratio is 1.618.  When I read only a small part of the article that referenced this Divine Ratio his face lit up.  He said his mother’s birthday is 6/18 and yesterday he had driven to see her for Birthday, and the numbers 618 were special to him, and this was not a coincidence.
